Lawn Programs for Warm-Season Turf in South Carolina
LawnSupport provides seasonal lawn programs for warm-season turf in South Carolina. Programs are built around soil health, conservative fertility, seasonal monitoring, and targeted treatments where appropriate. The goal is practical lawn support for qualifying properties — not a weed-free guarantee.
Low-Input Lawn Health Program
The Low-Input Lawn Health Program is a seasonal approach designed for warm-season South Carolina lawns. It focuses on the fundamentals that support long-term turf health without blanket applications or overselling results.
- Soil-health focused lawn care
- Conservative fertility based on turf type and season
- Seasonal monitoring of lawn conditions
- Targeted weed treatment where appropriate
- Turf stress support
- Disease and insect monitoring
- Custom quote based on lawn size, turf type, property conditions, and program needs
LawnSupport does not sell a weed-free program. Results depend on turf type, soil, irrigation, mowing, shade, weather, and lawn history.

Weed Control Expectations
Weed control is managed by turf type, timing, label directions, weather, and lawn condition. LawnSupport does not sell a weed-free guarantee. The following weeds may be addressed where label-compliant treatments are appropriate for the turf type and conditions:
- Crabgrass
- Goosegrass
- Poa annua
- Broadleaf weeds
- Dollarweed
- Virginia buttonweed
- Wild onion / wild garlic
- Nutsedge
- Kyllinga
- Dallisgrass
- Bahiagrass suppression where appropriate
- Torpedograss — limited or non-selective options only
- Bermudagrass contamination in centipede — difficult and limited; no reliable selective removal
Lawn Disease & Fungicide Support
Fungicide treatments may reduce disease pressure and improve recovery conditions, but they do not instantly repair dead turf. LawnSupport monitors for disease risk and provides recommendations based on turf type and seasonal conditions.
- Large patch / brown patch pressure
- Dollar spot pressure
- Leaf spot monitoring
- Disease risk inspection
- New sod fungicide protection where appropriate
- Watering and disease-pressure recommendations
Lawn Insect Support
Insect treatments are condition-based and applied where appropriate for the turf type, pest pressure, and label requirements. LawnSupport monitors for insect activity and treats where conditions support it.
- Fire ants
- Grubs
- Mole crickets
- Other labeled turf insects where appropriate
Optional Lawn Add-Ons
The following add-ons may be available depending on property conditions and program fit:
- Fire ant treatment
- New sod support
- Topdressing
- Soil testing
- Mole activity inspection
Exclusions: Topdressing is not a drainage correction or full grading service. New sod support does not guarantee sod survival if damage is caused by no irrigation, heat, poor soil prep, traffic, or missed watering. Mole activity inspection does not guarantee complete mole elimination.
How Lawn Program Quotes Work
LawnSupport does not use fixed public pricing. Quotes are based on lawn size, turf type, property conditions, weed pressure, pest pressure, access, and selected program needs. The estimate request starts the review process. After reviewing the property and conditions, LawnSupport will recommend the program that fits.
